    Chocolate Lard Bundt Cake

    Melt over medium heat, stirring often:
    4 Tb unsweetened cocoa
    14 ts sugar
    8 ts lard
    -Set aside.

    In stand mixer, beat 1 stick softened butter and 16 oz brown sugar until creamy. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, until well blended.

    Separately, blend 2 cups flour, 1 ts baking soda, and 1/2 ts salt. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture, alternating with 8 oz sour cream. Add chocolate mixture to batter. Add 1 cup hot water, very slowly, until mixed thoroughly. Add 2 ts vanilla.

    Pour into greased (lard) and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Let cool and flip to remove.
