  • Best Dang Biscuits


    1 tablespoon of lard
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tablespoon of baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon of salt
    3/4 cup of whole milk, well shaken


    Preheat the oven to 450° F. Grease the baking sheet. Mix flour with baking powder and salt and cut lard into flour mixture until crumbly; stir in milk to make a soft dough. Roll out on a floured surface or drop by tablespoons on the cookie sheet. Allow the biscuits to touch for better rising. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Makes 12.
